Aviation in a sustainable world

Studies

Omega’s main objective is to develop and transfer innovative knowledge in the field of aviation sustainability. We are developing a professional, credible and objective evidence base that will offer new solutions for a cleaner and quieter aviation future.

We collaborate with our partners in the aviation industry, in government, in NGOs and in leading aviation research centres to explore realistic, practical solutions to the challenges facing the global aviation industry.

The aim is to build up a picture of current knowledge on aviation sustainability, determine what research and study work is needed, and to carry out studies in order to help the industry and regulators make reach more effective – and sustainable – decisions and strategies.

Since we started in 2007, we have established 40 diverse and topical studies and events. Throughout 2008, we will be sharing findings from these activities through reports, workshops and conferences.
