What is this event about?
The aim of the seminar is to disseminate and discuss outcomes from the Omega Air Transport Emissions Trading Scheme study.
What are the objectives?
This seminar will share the results from Omega’s study into the possible impacts on the aviation industry and general economic activity resulting from including the aviation sector in the European Union Emissions Trading Scheme (EU ETS).
The event will show a number of scenarios of emissions permit allocations and the consequent business responses to changes in costs from the permit prices. Attendees will gain and understanding of the conditions under which aviation might significantly affect permit prices in the EU ETS and under which aviation sector investment decisions will be influenced by the permit price.
Intended participation
